Klaus von Pressentin (1996) het onlangs ‘n toekenning van die internasionale Vereniging van Opleiers in Familie-gesondheid (STFM) ontvang wat hom in staat sal stel om later vanjaar sy ondervinding plaaslik as Hoof van die Afdeling vir Familie-gesondheid by die Universiteit van Kaapstad en as hoofredakteur van die vaktydskrif South African Family Practice by die STFM Kongres in Amerika te gaan deel.
Klaus von Pressentin (1996), Associate Professor & Head: Division of Family Medicine, University of Cape Town and Editor-in-chief: South African Family Practice, has been selected as the 2022 International Scholar of the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine (STFM).
This award comes with registration for the STFM annual conference and STFM membership for one year.
The STFM International Scholar Award was created to engage family medicine faculty colleagues worldwide with the goal of ensuring the exchange of knowledge between family medicine educators based in the US and abroad. This will hopefully contribute to the development of beneficial, bidirectional, long-term relationships between award recipients and STFM members.
Founded in 1967, the STFM is a community of academic leaders committed to developing an accomplished family medicine workforce. The STFM’s mission is to advance family medicine to improving health through a community of teachers and scholars.
