It gives us great pleasure to announce to you that in the coming weeks, the OBU will be re-introducing the Semper Wine Club to the greater Paul Roos community. As a school we’ve proudly produced countless Old Boys who are active members of the wine industry today. These include proprietors of world-renowned wine estates, winemakers and independent brand owners, not to mention those employed in various other positions throughout the industry. It is also our belief that no other school in South Africa can boast with as many former students entrenched in this sector – a fact we can truly be proud of.
The broad aim of this club will be to feature and introduce, to the Paul Roos community, wines which have been produced by Old Boys or by their affiliated companies. This will in part be achieved by creating an accessible online platform through which Paul Roos Old Boys, affiliated staff, parents and followers can join the club and purchase wines made by Old Boys or their employers. There will be a number of benefits to being a wine club member, so don’t miss the opportunity to be an Ambassador of our Old Boys and the wines they produce.
