This Arbour Day we were thrilled to celebrate with a generous donation from Old Boys of the 1973 class. On their behalf Old Boy Tielman Roos (1974), chairman of the BHRC committee who in 1995 registered the family-owned Mooiplaas Private Nature Reserve, dedicating approximately 70 hectares to the conservation of endangered fynbos species, donated young Van Wykshout (tree wisteria) trees to the school. The PRG Societas learners are nurturing these trees until they can be planted out later. Together we are not only planting trees, but also investing in a greener future and fostering a legacy of environmental stewardship.
