Vir ons Old Boys is dit altyd hartseernuus om van die afsterwe van iemand uit ons geledere te verneem. Maar ons weet dat die dood ʼn onvermydelike deel van ons aardse bestaan is.
We would like to pay tribute to the following members of our fraternity who shared our hallowed school grounds with us and contributed in some or other way to the memories many of us treasure
- Tannie Dinks Liebenberg, last living child of Paul Roos, at the age of 95 on 2 December 2017 (See also obituary)

- Stefan Coetzer (1983)
Hein Brand shared the following about Stefan: “Stefan was full of life and energy. When he was younger he was often at the centre of the party. We had good contact when I lived in Cape Town but less so after 2008 when we moved to Brazil. I think I last saw him in Stellenbosch in 2014. A highlight was in 2005 when my wife and I met up with Stefan and Ernie in Berlin and attended a live concert by the hardcore legendary German industrial band Rammstein. I attach a photo of him and Ernie at that concert.”
