Na ‘n lang afwesigheid is daar weer ‘n elektroniese Semper beskikbaar by https://issuu.com/semperprg/docs/semper_term_1_2023.
Wiskunde was eintlik haar vak.
Steffan Thielen makes out a good argument that the ultimate goal of Paul Roos Gymnasium is to create understanding for man’s true, natural maturing process, knowing what it takes to achieve and then implementing it. It is about showing the world what a man truly is!
Nicolaas Snijman explains why he thinks Chat GPT is the ultimate tool for learning and why it should be regarded as the equivalent of an after school teacher. Uhm… let us think a bit more about this as the heading underlines the fear that the top student in every class is going to be Chat GPT!
With 12000 South African students at educational institutions overseas and apparently more than a million keen on the prospect, Christian Cronjé discusses the pro’s and cons of studying overseas. He quotes Carl Roothman (2021), holder of a tennis scholarship at the Oklahoma State University in the USA, who says the routine and discipline of PRG helped him to adapt.
Enjoy the read!
