Al lyk dit tans of die wêreld in en om die skool steeds stilstaan, presteer Old Boys regoor die wereld op die omblik op die sportveld en inspireer al wat Paul Rooser is. Boonop is daar vier van hulle wat aan die Olimpiese Spele in Japan gaan deelneem en nog twee met PRG-bande wat deel van die afrigtingspanne uitmaak.

Garrick Higgo (2017)

Garrick has won three times on the European Tour: the 2020 Open de Portugal and the Gran Canaria Lopesan Open as well as the Canary Islands Championship this year. Garrick won his first PGA Tour title in his second start, at the Palmetto Championship. See this interview with him after his win.
As of 30 June 2021 he ranked nr. 39 in the world. Garrick is also part of the 2021 SA Olympic Golf Team.
Christian Sadie (2015)


Christian het met ‘n tyd van 1:21.83 in die 100m-rugslag dit ‘n vyfde Paralimpiese item gemaak waarin hy gekwalifiseer het. Sy ander items is die 200m-wisselslag; 100m-borsslag; 50m-vryslag en 50m-vlinderslag.: “My name is Christian Sadie and I am a swimmer competing in the S7 category. I am passionate, self-motivated and greatly enjoy what I do. I aspire to compete at the Tokyo Paralympics in 2021, and my goal – to reach the final.”
Kerwin Noemdo (2012)

During his university career, Kerwin Noemdo was able to represent South Africa twice at the world championships. Three World Championships later (Lyon, 2013, London, 2017 and Dubai, 2019), saw Kerwin awarded the Maties (University of Stellenbosch) Para Sportsman of the Year in 2019. “Holding that trophy in my hand, looking at the names of previous recipients, was humbling. I had never competed in a Paralympics but was still considered worthy to take my place amongst seasoned Paralympians! It was such confirmation that I was on the right path, and needed to continue, no matter how many obstacles I may face.”

Stefan de Bod (2014)

Stefan raced for his Astana–Premier Tech team in this year’s Tour de France. Stefan recently placed in the top 25 at the Tour de Swiss. This year Stefan also came 9th in the second stage, an individual time trial, of the Volta Ciclista a Catalunya in Spain.
Benewens Higgo (gholf), De Bod (fietsry), Noemdo (gewigstoot) en Sadie (swem) het Paul Roos Gimnasium ‘n betrokkenheid in die Japanse Spele vanjaar in die persone van Ashlin Freddy (huidige hoof van hokkie) wat as video-analis en tegniese afrigter die manshokkiespan vergesel, en Vaughn Marlow (huidige hoof van waterpolo), wat as assistent-afrigter van die waterpolo-manspan gaan optree.
